I had not expected that I would see this place again. How long has it been?

Vexen... No. Beast Boy, Kobato, are you still here?

[Saix sounds weary, and his voice is raspy, the combination of an already sore throat, and far too much shouting.]

He fights well. Perhaps a little better than I expected.

When Beast Boy recovers, make sure he's back to his own senses before letting him loose. I don't wish to have to do that again.

I had not planned on consuming alcohol in large quantities again.

It seems the mansion has other ideas.

Take this as your warning, Beast Boy, and the replica, if you attempt a repeat of last time, I will ensure you regret it. The same goes for anyone else who may consider taking this opportunity to play childish pranks.

While it may have taken a number of attempts, my hair is finally back to normal.

If anyone attempts that again, Beast Boy, I will not be so forgiving.

The same goes for any other colours anyone might care to attempt.

Losing my voice was a most inconvenient disability. Vexen, you have my apologies for not being more talkative company.

That said, anyone who was under the impression that I either chose to wear a pelt, or somehow killed and skinned the animal myself, or might in the future be inclined to do so, is gravely mistaken ( Read more... )

I will require considerable training to return to my former strength. This, among other things, is why I dislike being confined in such a way.

At least now I'm permitted to leave the mansion, even if it is for limited periods.
